Pensions Update           Home

20th July 2006

The latest news hot off the press is that the Judicial Review is now unlikely to take place until October.  This seems to vindicate the views of myself and many others that the decision to suspend the industrial action was ill-advised to say the least.

Apparently at the last meeting of the National Executive Council, a report was circulated that emphasised that plans should still be being made for further industrial action and that we must no lose momentum.  I think it’s probably quite difficult to lose momentum when you’re standing still!

I’m sure there’ll be plenty of pressure exerted from various quarters to revive the action – watch this space…….
